2年前にXQueryが.NET 2.0から消えた後、僕はXQueryConvertも消さなきゃやばいだろ、というsuggestionをMicrosoftに送ってやった。

There are some primitive XML schema types from XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 working drafts. But there is no assurance that they will become part of W3C recommendation.

受け取った側の開発者は、自分のdailymeに属さないsuggestionだったせいか、とても気分を害したようで、

We have extremely high confidence that these types will not be altered since both XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 are in Last Call stage. Such a change would not be allowed at this point in the standardization process.

なんて強気なコメントを付けて、WON'T FIXにしてcloseしてしまった。

で、最近新しいXQueryのドラフトが出たみたいだけど、やっぱりxdt:*の名前空間が変わったようだ。

まあ、WON'T FIXとか書いておきながら、結局2.0 RTM以前に消えたんだけど（多分、この開発者も）。
